That's what I call it when everything goes wonky.
Last night, I made a comment to a friend that implied it was Tuesday. But I thought nothing of it until this morning on the way to work, when I realized, today is Thursday, so last night was not Tuesday. So I drove on, contemplating whether today was Wednesday or Thursday. Trying to remember, what classes did I teach yesterday? Was it Tuesday? What is today? I don't know! By the time I got there, I was half convinced it was Wednesday and I wasn't supposed to be there yet. But I checked a calendar - yes, I actually had to look - and confirmed it's Thursday.
Then I found that I'd forgotten to print the quiz for today, and the printer in the office wouldn't work, so I had to hand-write it.
Then I went to make copies of some stuff, and programmed the copier to duplex 2 pages into one and staple it. Yep, I told it to staple one page. The copier was smarter than me and declined to do so.
Later I went back to the office, which is shared with a ton of people, and where I always complain that the lift is broken on 8 of 10 chairs and I feel like I'm sitting on the floor. Today I found one that was so tall it wouldn't go under the desk - but the lift was broken the other direction and it couldn't be lowered.
I got cut off twice in traffic because my car apparently has a cloaking device but I can't figure how to turn it off.
I tried to type the word "vocabulary" and typed "covabulary" 3 times instead.
And finally, put on a clean shirt and 4 minutes later, dropped salsa on it.
I'm going to bed now, and intend to sleep until I've regained my faculties. It could take a while.
