I realize that this is not in Indiana, but we're only a quick jaunt (across Illinois) away...

Steampunk Outing In St. Louis, MO
Saturday, August 16th
The Mills Mall.
Assuming, of course, that "Journey to the Center of the Earth" is still playing at that time, I propose that we make our own journey to The Mills on that date.

Timing will have to be planned closer to the date, due to the timetable of the theater. Current plan is to arrive in the afternoon.
Included in this adventure:
*Seeing the adaptation of Jules Verne's "Journey to the Center of the Earth" on the big screen with the newfangled technology of "Three Dimensional Cinematograph". Ocular devices will be provided! (Movie ticket price.)
*Riding the gorgeous carousel en masse in costume. The ride shall be captured on film. (Group rates available. Approximately $2-5.)
*A visit to Hot Topic to show them how "it is done." ($0 unless you intend to shop.)
*A visit to the Aquarium to see various specimens from Asia, South America, and Africa. ($2.)
*Dinner at the Longhorn Steakhouse, which has on display a great many beautiful photographs from an era near and dear to our hearts.

This is a family-friendly event.
