I am located in Indianapolis and am interested in maybe having some sort of meet-up. I have a good friend who works at the Morris-Butler House, an 1865 historic home that is open to the public as a museum, and she has told me that they currently have an exhibit about mourning on display. They also do period teas, and if we can demonstrate sufficient interest, they would be interested in holding one just for us! In order to figure out cost, I need to be able to give her an estimate of attendance, though, so.... who would be up for it? What times work for you all?

There is also the Ayers tea room at the Indiana State Museum, which would probably be a cheaper tea ($10), so perhaps there could be a Morris-Butler tour followed by Ayers tea afternoon combo. So that is another option.

So... is there any interest to be had here in the fine state of Indiana?

P.S. While we are on a museum kick, Conner Prairie, a living history museum here, is planning a 1856 balloon exhibit for mid-2009. Airship pirates, strap on your goggles.
