Okay...
So I HAVE my work keys when I dash off to lunch... and then somehow DON'T have them when I return. WTF? I looked, I dug, I groped, I searched, I cussed, and I prayed. No keys.

F*CK!

Considering I went to the bank and also to a convenient store, as well as an Indian restaurant on my lunch, it was going to SUCK trying to track them down...

So during lunch I went and got money and then decided I HAD to have Indian food again. I just had it for lunch yesterday but it was so good I was absolutely CRAVING it. I think it might be bewitched like the Turkish Delight in Narnia. Anyway, I did not have money for the parking meter so I had to run in and get change at a convenient store. The guy was a jerk and refused to give me change unless I bought something. So I grabbed a bottle of water. $1.75! For 23.7 ounces of water!!! So then I gave the city $0.50 to allow me to park my car and then went into the restaurant.

I normally HATE eating by myself. I feel so pathetic sitting there- alone. But I only had about 20 minutes to eat and it was a buffet... so I forgot all about feeling pathetic and scarfed some seriously delicious Indian cuisine. Trust me when I say that if I go so far as to call ANY buffet food "cuisine", then you bet your ass it is good!

I barely had enough time to finish seconds, yes, blowing my diet all to hell, and had to rush back to the office. I get to the door. No keys...

I had to call my ghetto co-worker to come and let me in the door, only to find when she walked all the way out there, that the stupid door was unlocked to start with.

Okay... So i made it back on time. I got in the building. Still, NO KEYS!

I try to shake it off and get back to work and then about 15 minutes later, my keys are just sitting there in the middle of my desk. No way. I did not leave my desk from the time I got back until I found them. No one walked up. I was totally alone.

Spooky. Creepy. Just plain weird!

So I am very full and had a great, albeit lonely, lunch. And my keys are safe and sound.

Thank God!
