Giant tumor removed from woman

An Indianapolis woman has had a giant tumor the weight of a person removed in a marathon operation.

The tumor weighed approximately 150 kilograms (330 pounds) - about as much as the anonymous woman now weighs without it.

The 35-year-old suffers from a psychiatric disorder which causes her to attach herself to heartless, sadistic men, which then begin to mimic tumors on her body.

The largest tumor ever to be removed is believed to have weighed 137kg - 302 pounds, according to Guinness World Records.

Friends, family, and co-workers of the woman spoke with her, e-mailed, journaled, and more to perform the 5 month marathon operation.

The team, led by
ziggy_prime, a close friend of the woman, offered their services for free after the woman could not afford the $300,000 it would cost to have a lobotomy, the only other alternative to the risky procedure that was subsequently performed.

The tumor - which weighed just under 24 stone - covered most of her body and was wrapped around her heart, brain, and soul in a snake-like fashion.

After the operation, a family member, who was part of the surgical team, joked that the lack of tumor "really suited her".

The woman, a former hopeless romantic from Cincinnati, Ohio, suffers from the rare genetic disease Aphroditis, more commonly known as Blind Love Addiction or Happily Ever After Syndrome.

A similar tumor had been removed from the woman nearly 2 years prior after a 9 year growth. It was removed through a divorce when it had reached an unmanageable size, interfering with the woman’s ability to care for herself and her small daughter. Within days of its removal, the new, different, more handsome, successful, and charming tumor appeared and grew even bigger, faster, and nastier with much more pain than the first.

The tumor initially appeared as a Knight In Shining Armor when she was 33.

She has been sullen and inconsolable for several months due to the growing tumor, which absorbed her happiness and self-esteem like a giant parasite.

Friends and family had warned there was a risk of massive depression when the tumor was cut away from the body.

The team also operated on a 19-year-old woman who was suffering from a smaller yet similar tumor caused by the same purported knight.
