I rather like that this was in S6 instead of S5. It fits better here.

Agreed. I was thinking about it earlier and I could not have coped with the TARDIS exploding at every point in space and time, knowing what we know now from this ep. And the speech he does to Amelia at the end too. I cannot imagine how the Doctor must have felt then. *hugs TARDIS*
