Erase

I will erase all the smudges that sully your beautiful life
I will sit at this loom and unweave every out of place thread
I have a very comfortable chair.
I can do this for hours.
I will erase all the smudges that taint your portrait
keeping it from shining, like I know that it can.
I will sit here and move my hands with ease
I can feel the curves of your chin
My brush pivots at the point of your nose
I will color correct every line with all the tricks in my digital toolbox.
I have many.
For you paint for me. You sculpt for me. You live for me.
And I will hold you until everything else is erased away
Until only we exist
I will hold your face and erase the pain and sadness
with the loving strokes of my fingers.
I am very warm.
It would be nice.
It would be so nice to erase it all.
I have very good hands.
