New Year's Resolutions as we enter the 8th month of our 12 month year... damned romans
1. Successful and Peaceful Trip to California.
Check x2! One in January and one in July.
2. Dine at Alinea.
Check. And with Esther moving there and Ben saying he wants to visit her, that might become a x2 also!
3. Go to Europe.
Check. Had an amazing time. Saw Belgium, Spain, and the Netherlands. Amazing trip. I'm so lucky i have a brother who lives there.
4. Get a job with Life Care Services.
Well, they said they'd be hiring in June. Then September. Now sometime in 2010. But I think when they finally can hire people I will get the job. Stupid economy. I'm going to CT in late August to meet with the HR director, so that's a good sign. In the meantime I'll either stay at Blakehurst or look into a Gov't job.
5. Graduate from Towson University Magna Cum Laude
Check. Enough people bitched that they went back to the old system for Latin Honors for my class only. Dunno if that helped or hurt. But you need a 3.55 for Magna and I had a 3.58 so sure enough when my diploma it said Magna Cum Laude and had a seal from the Honor College too.
6. Settle into a place of my own wherever I end up.
Well, I don't know where I'll end up. So that's still up in the air. But some efforts have been made into finding a place w/o the parents.
7. Get in Shape.
Not a check by any means, but it's not too late. With the beach coming up in 2 weeks, now would be a good time to get on that.
8. Be in a steady relationship.
This would be an un-check. And despite several candidates I liked (and - not to be egotistical - even more candidates that liked me) I find myself still single and not terribly unhappy about it. I think I focused to much on one person, like I always do. It's time to give some others a chance.
9. Be home for Christmas.
This one seems fairly certain now.
10. Find a 10th resolution.
