More icons and this time it's a journey to the past with Minato, Obito, Rin and Kakashi. And one grinning Jiraiya because he's so cute I just want to cuddle him. I hope you'll like them!

(And yes, shaitanah I officially allow you to look (and use if you want) at the Obito ones because you behaved so well)))

Okay then! But I think colouring the pictures is half the fun.XDD Well, for the background I'm always on the search for new textures like this one:
. You can paste them into the background and the whole thing already looks quite a bit more interesting like in number 9. For the colouring in these icons I used two layers with pink and blue to get the colours like they are and that already turns the background a nice warm colour. I actually just left this colour in number 20 and added two rectangular tools, then filled them with colour and played with the opacity a bit. The flowers and other things in the background are from several different sets of brushes, I'm always looking for new ones.)) You can use them just in the background like in number 8 or put parts of it on the picture itself like in 19, it depends which layer you're working on. And oh yeah! In 16 I used part of a photo I took as the background to get the sky to look real. Because, you know it actually is.^^ I also used the gradient tool on a few of them to get a bit more colour like in numbers 2, 5 and 15. I especially loooove my brushes they really improve a picture. Like here:
compared to this one:
The second one already looks a lot prettier.^^ (Don't take the first one seriously, I was bored.XDD) So, yeah. That's about it.))) I only started making icons two or three months ago so I'm still learning.))

Minato deserves his own Volume)))

Oh wow, thank you for the lesson! :D I don't know why, when I color, I always feel like it looks awful. Maybe I just don't get the hang of layers. XDD

I totally agree! :)

Ahahahah, was it too teacher like? I'm no pro so I just wrote down everything that came to mind.^^ Layers are curse and blessing in one. Colouring without them is evil but having to use them at all isn't all that great either.XDDD

XDD It was very helpful! :) I always think I'm making too many layers b/c I can't keep up with the ones I have & get confused. >_>

There can never be too many layers.XDD Sometimes I work with a dozen or so. You should just name them, then you won't get confused.))
