Lessons of the week
I learned:
It's possible to love someone so fiercely you'll never forgive him for making a stupid mistake, that you can't call him to say thanks for still being alive, sorry your best friend isn't when you're so pissed at him for getting in the car so drunk he couldn't tell his best friend should be anywhere but behind the wheel. That you're grateful he didn't kill someone because even though you've drifted apart and haven't seen each other in years he's still the closest thing you have to a little brother and you need to be proud of him like you need oxygen to breathe.
That just because something looks like eczema doesn't mean it is eczema and treatable isn't curable. And oh fun, it's possible to get something that only overweight and/or diabetic people get even if you're neither. And the fact that you're 99% sure you're not diabetic doesn't mean it's a good idea to eat so much sugar you'll get sick no matter how healthy you are.
That with a week of good reasons, it still sucks to give in your first late assignment in college.
