So, I'm 750 miles away from home.
And it feels really weird.
I'm in Boston. Tomorrow, I take my English and math placement tests. Wednesday, I have Freshman/Family Orientation.
It feels so weird. I'm here. I'm actually doing it. I am actually going to be here for school come September 5.
It's funny, though, because I have been saying since my freshman year of high school that I was going to go to college in Boston.
And barely anyone believed me. And those that did, said they did with a quiver of doubt in their voices.
Well, tah-dah. Guess where am I? Guess what I'm doing?
Yeah.
So, I've spent the day with my mom's family, which was really nice because I haven't seen them in so long. I've answered the questions, "Which UMass are you going to?," "Where are you going to live?," "When do classes start?," et cetera.
So, now I'm using a legal wireless internet connection at my grandparents' house, and I just thought I'd let you all know that flying wasn't near as bad as I was expecting, despite the fact that my right ear didn't pop for a few hours. I felt off-balance for a while.
I'll be home Friday, around 9 in the morning.
I may post again, because I realize that I haven't posted in, like, probably two months. I don't even know.
Love.
