god said ha, box of moonlight
just saw "God Said, Ha!", about a woman divorcing her husband & moving into her own private home, only to have to brother be diagnosed with terminal cancer so her brother & parents move in with her. then the woman herself is diagnosed with cervical cancer & has to have a hysterectomy. the best part was when the doctor told her she could harvest her eggs if they were fertilized with sperm, then she could hire a surrogate mother to have her child. her response was "oh, great. now i have to meet a guy AND a girl!"
a little while ago i saw "Box of Moonlight", which is definetly now in my list of favorite movies. it was indescribable, i came away feeling very happy though. i thought i don't get to get a job, i just can live in the woods!
