sunday
sunday was a joy. i got to spend the better part of the day with my nephew -- all of about 20months old now.
we practiced summersaults in the wet, dewy grass. scribbled on sheets and sheets of newspaper and lined school paper. drew "boom" and "3-2-1-bastoff" with orange and yellow markers. sang old mcdonald. at least 100 times. went to beach. tried to eat some sand. not very good. tried to eat some lemon. better, but still not very good....tried to eat some ice cream. chocolate ice cream. yeah, now we're talking. also applied said ice cream as hair gel and facial mask -- maybe that's why babies skin is so soft? we tried on a variety of shoes; Aunt Avi's, and Unc "Hef's" (still a little problem with "J"s), mommies, and daddies, counted toes, trees, and plants. played on the computer. turned off the computer. over and over again. poor computer...
such a happy sweet bouncy kid -- i feel very lucky to get to spend time with him.
