Sunshine!

So, super exciting because it is slowly working it's way into spring out there. I don't even care if it is warm enough to go without a jacket, I juts need sunshine! It's amazing how sunshine can totally turn a day around. More energy, work longer during the day because it feels like a longer day, etc. Yay! Working to find another quick job before I leave in two months. Oh so poor right now. Dad asked about how I was going to pay taxes (being an independent contractor at NSLC sucks ass by the way...) and I gave a blank stare. Um, yeah. No clue. Just managed to pay all rent payments up until leaving on time with the few hours from ERC, but that means no eating until I leave either. No anything for that matter. So I need work. FAFSA spring money will kick in soon, that will be helpful, but still. Trying to find stuff like babysitting that's under the table and an informal hiring process since I have to leave in two months.

Heading to Marquette this weekend. That should be cool. Camping tent style if it doesn't freeze or rain for 5 days. I'm excited, I've never been. COme back for a few days to work and then head out to DC. Yay! Actually might be driving out with Donika which would be hott. Well, she's hott and it would be fun. Not to mention that I wouldn't have to talk to myself for the 8.5 hour drive. Thought I was going to have to go 6 weeks between each visit with the lady friend for the next 4-5 months (that would not be ok) but luckily it seems only three weeks for at least the next month. It's going to be a long year before we can be together. I look at how long it's been and I'm impressed. But thhen I realize how far we have to go and it aches a little bit. It's nice to hear her reassuring me that things will be fine since i am usually having to tell everyone else that everything happens for a reason. so, then I'm back in town for a couple of weeks before back to DC for Aditi's graduation. Quality time with her rents should make for an interesting weekend. Back in town one more week until heading out to Chicago for NSLC admin training. Damn memorial day weekend. Thanks assholes. To Stino's cabin the following weekend for a big gay weekend and then leave June 8th for Berkeley. So little time, so much to do. Luckily, almost everything is in order. Working hard to make sure mind and body are back on the same healthy track.

SO pumped about the next month or two. Started an ultimate frisbee team with Katie. We are slowly dragging the ERC troops in along with random friends of the crew. SOunds like we might actually haev enough for two teams to play on a regular basis. HOTT The disc and I have spent far too much time apart. Yoga starts up again in the next week or two. Also HOTT. It's amazing how my body clammed up after a six week break. So yeah, warm, sunny weather makes the world better. Hopefully you're feeling the same way!

COme play frisbee with me:)

peace
