Ju-u-u-s-s-st woke up -- was reading an old journal's writings (just imported them all to here) until five-thirty in the morning....very interesting, and quite entertaining. At any rate, both journals are here in entirety, now - and that makes me happy.
There's no coffee. And I may be too lazy to go make any. Nah - brb. It's me. Got to have coffee.
Okay - it's brewing.
But - BOY, how the world has changed, and me, too.
Re: writings above? What a vivid world we had created! Both hilarious and gut-wrenching, in turn. Such wide-ranging and varying turns, too - such an eclectic cast that peopled this world..I have to admit, I miss it - and can't imagine how we found the time..Everything/everyone was/is there - from robots and androids and angels to astrophysicists and actors - and musicians, teachers, comedians, drag queens, scientists, brothelkeeps, Vulcans, suicidal insurance salesmen, wizards, rednecks and newscasters (well, one - that I'd totally forgotten about) - and a few astronauts, of course..And some street kid named, 'Jack' who haunts still the alleyways of my youth, and bears more than a passing resemblance to a painfully young Simon Gallup..
Don't expect anyone to be interested - trust me, on that one - - but I'm glad it's all saved. Their journey was/is my journey - and the road goes ever on.
I mean - look at THIS:
I mean, WOW. WTF WAS I THINKING? Yes - that's William Shatner (circa 1974) being bullied by a totally psychotic Andy Griffith in, 'Pray for the Wildcats' - - TOP THAT!
