I still use Livejournal to read other friend's posts, but I don't post stuff here anymore, and haven't for a long time.
I sort of used to keep a journal here, and I made both Public and 'Friends-locked' posts. My public posts may have been about things I notice as I'm going about my daily life that seem interesting. My Friends-locked posts were about things I felt like talking about with people I know.
I also had some filters (Custom Groups of users on my Friends list) where I might have talked about more specific things that I don't want to bore everyone with, or things that I want to restrict to a smaller audience than everyone on my Friends list.

All comments to this entry are screened, which means, in Livejournal-ese, that they will be visible only to me.
This post is not actually from the future, that's just Livejournal's way of letting users put a comment at the top of their journal. I think it's cute. And now that I'm speaking about using Livejournal in the past tense instead of the present tense, the future thing is slightly more amusing.
