I love when the lilacs on Brattle Street are in bloom.
Another excellent thing is when my favorite tree, a European Beech on MIT's campus, is in full leaf and I can go climb it.
This is a really good time of year to take a walk around Mount Auburn Cemetery and climb the tower in the middle for the Panoramic view of the Boston area.
I just went over to Harvard Square and watched the Boston Zombie March as it went by. It was magnificent and funny. I saw a Roger and Jessica Rabbit zombie couple, a skater zombie, hipster zombies, preppy zombies, businessman zombies, nun and priest zombies, nerd zombies, anarchist rocker grrl zombies, and more! I also noticed a few anti-zombie protestors, the most notable of which were a pair of shiny boxy robots, holding signs that "ROBOTS AGAINST ZOMBIES" and "ZOMBIES TAKE ROBOT JOBS!
