Today started the week off much better than last week. ASIP was interesting. I have to make a powerpoint presentation on my heritage. Which means I'll be doing it on Thailand.. and whatever Dad's background is. But I'll probabaly do most of it on Thailand. It's going to be great. English was okay. I really didn't feel all that great.. but I managed to stay awake. I got a B+ on my paper! And I'm actually looking forward to doing the annotated Bibliography. I know that it's going to help me out a lot when I actually get into the classroom. I came back here, watched the storm pass through, then crashed. I slept really good. I know I shouldn't have stayed up as late as I did Friday or Saturday night. Friday night, the smoke smell was bothering me, and the excitement of the trip was overwhelming. Saturday night, I just didn't want to stop looking at the stars and having great conversations with Bob, Aubree, and Darla... plus the drunks were really loud. So I guess I was running on 3-4 hours of sleep both days. But anyway, Geology Lab was okay, I took my topographical map test. I know I didn't do too great. But I did the best I could do.. or remember. I finished the test and the lab work and was out of there by 4. Now, 3 and a half hours later, here I am doing nothing.. my shoulders, back and arms still sore. But not as much as they were yesterday.

Tomorrow's my last day kayaking in the pool :( I wish there were more days with that group.. But like Looney Louis (lol, I hope I can get him as one of my professors sometime!) said, when we see each other (Cape Lookout Crowd) around campus we'll always have this special bond, the weekend wouldn't have been as awesome as it was without everyone who was there.
