I'm glad that came through, I've been worried that the lack of zombieness wouldn't work, but I think the suspense adds to it.

Glad you enjoyed! And thanks for commenting.

You´re dragging me slowly, continuosly into this athmosphere of darkness and tension... It´s an eerie feeling, its intensity almost tingling with your writing.
I love her distant acknowledge of the events, which feel so close all the same:
"Kids came in to find their futures. Instead, the future found them. And it had teeth."
And the melancholy of her memories, fresh and sweet, lying much too far behind and yet all too present...Amazing.
You have a beauty in your writing that never fails to catch me.

I am mighty proud of that line I must admit.

I'm really glad you enjoyed it, and that the things I@m trying to put into the fic are coming through so well.

The style of writing is hard for me to like because it can be done horribly, horribly wrong but the way that you write it seems to work for me. It is not jerky and makes me really want to read it fast so that I can find out what is going to happen. That it is a Cara and Kahlan story is like a cherry on a great tasting sundae!
