foiled again
So I went back down to Columbus yesterday with Jarred to play paintball with Dan and get my computer. However, the paintball facility has evidently gone out of business, there are no other paintball places in town, and my computer needs a new power supply too.
The good news: whilst at Hounddog's playing pool post-pizza, we ran into...Solomon Ford! And Kipp and David and Lisa! It was fantastic! I had a great great time. Jarred and I are going to go back down in August and visit everyone again. I'm pretty excited. And we found a paintball place midway between Oberlin and Columbus that claims to be open on Sundays, so we're going to try that next time. Hey, third time's the charm, no?
Jarred and I are heading on over to State College today for the 4th, fireworks, and fun fun fun. I got Adam $50 worth of (illegal in PA) fireworks in Ohio. I just hope noone loses an eye...or a hand...or a head. I have a bad feeling I'm going to get to babysit drunken 19-year-olds having Roman Candle wars. Egads, what have I gotten myself into?
I'm just wrapping up a few things here in the lab, and then I'm going to go home and relax and clean until Jarred gets off work. Then it's off to PA!
