Disclaimer: I don't own Community, and the character of Jenna is free game.
A/N: I'm a huge Community fan as well as a Jeff/Annie shipper. I thought that Jenna King wasn't fitting in with the Study Group that well and the episode of G.I. Jeff gave me an excuse to get her out before the season 5 finale. Side note though, this doesn't mean that she is gone. I made a post in
http://milady-milord.livejournal.com/1166245.html, saying that I was going to do a new study group and I'm currently working on it. So she will be back in the fan fic series I'm doing call Community: The Next Generation. Also if given the choice, Elizabeth Gillies as Jenna King.
Jenna opens the door of Jeff’s apartment. She knows that she should at least try to go to her classes but the pain she still has for her parents’ departure has gotten her heart aching every time she tries studying. She takes a seat at the couch and relaxes. She thinks back to what her uncle Willy Jr. had told her when she met him.

“I know you’re going through a rough time. We all get them sometimes but this is not where you need to be right now. My dad kind of runs the house and I feel that it’s too toxic for you to be here. I’ll take you in if you want but there’s someone that I think has a better chance to help you out. He’s my half-brother. His name is Jeff.” Willy Jr. said.

That advice got her here. As she turns on the television, she gets a text from her phone. She looks at her phone to see who sent it.
It’s from Annie. As she reads the text, Jenna feels a tension in her heart.
The text said, “Jeff’s in the hospital. Come asap. Here’s the address.”
Jenna rereads the text another time as her mind is at a lost. The thoughts that start to resurface in her mind gets to her.
You’re about to lose him too. He’s going to be fine. No. It’s your parents all over again. You don’t know that. Are you going to take the risk?
She catches her breath as she takes her phone and starts dialing a number. She waits for the one person she could talk to.
“Hello.” The voice said from the other line.
“Willy. It’s Jenna. I don’t care what happens there. I need to live with you guys.” Jenna said.
“Wait, what happened?” Willy Jr. said on the phone.
“I think I’m scared.” She said as tears starts coming as she continues. “I’m scared that I might have found something here but I can’t be here yet. I need to grow, uncle. I don’t want to be the girl with a broken heart. I want to be the girl with no heart. I want your dad to turn me into that. Let me live with you guys, please.” Jenna said.
The other line remains silent for a bit until it comes back on.
The voice that has now taken over is William Winger Senior as he said, “Pack your things. I’ll see you in the morning.”
The line hangs up as Jenna wipes the tears from her face. She starts to take all of her clothes and stuff from the apartment. She puts them in a duffle bag. She takes a moment to place her cellphone on the table. She wasn’t going to need it anymore. As she starts to leave the apartment, she takes a moment to take out the Greendale Community College sticker logo from her duffle bag. The Dean gave it to her on the 1st day of school in his office. He had told her, she was always welcome at Greendale. He told her the sticker was his way of saying welcome to the family. For a moment she thought of tearing it but she knows better. She puts it back in the duffle bag as she turns off the lights of the apartment. She will return to Greendale. That is something she’ll do, but for now she need to learn to hate herself before she can heal.
