My name is Lucinda. It means "Illumination" in Latin, I usually go by Lucy, which means "Shining Light" or "Bringer of Light". So I think the name fits me for the most part. I try and be a light to people I know and love. I haven't met many Lucinda's, when I worked for Qwest (US West) Directory Assistance I assisted a Lucinda from Seattle. She was so boggled by getting someone also named Lucinda, she nearly forgot what she was calling for. Then ironically 3 weeks later I assisted her again. It was a brief pleasant moment in the midst of maddness, you speak to nearly 1,500 people in a day on that job, and about 350 of those are nut jobs with nothing better to do than spend 75 cents or $1.50 on harrassing D.A. people. Anyway write now I'm back in school and I plan on going to acquire a degree in Psychology. I plan to write about psychology, current events, politics (since I can't talk politics with real people because no one can agree with me:), and many other topics. I have a boyfriend named Josh for 8 years. I love heavy metal, pop, some hip hop, techno, classic rap. But I guess I can talk more about these things in my entries, right!?
So that's my bio on my user info page, and I don't think I ever really talk about those things, every once in awhile I comment on that texas-oilian-idiot in office, but I don't really talk about politics.
And FYI I've been with my boyfriend 9yrs. I guess we don't believe in marriage or something? :-) No, I'm joking it's just that I'm only 24(oh no I'll be 25 in a week) and I don't think I want to get married yet, I will feel old when I do. That also means I'd probably have to be all grown up and I don't think I'm quite there yet.
I'm not sure if my use of ironically is correct, I hate English Grammar! I'd rather be speaking French! Tee-hee! That's not literal, I'm just being goofy, I just always did poorly in my English or the more classy sounding Language Arts classes. Well, except in the creative writing areas.
Anyways, that's all thats crackin!
