Ah, Inuyasha - an old favourite. I'm guessing you know that the final season is going to start on Oct 10th? *is excited*

Okay, here goes:

My OTP: Sesshomaru/Kagome. I love the idea of them being together. Inuyasha/Kagome just wasn't intresting enough for me - in the manga, it's the typical "Does he like me? Cause I like him..." relationship. But I find quite compatible personality-wise. It reminds me of Sasuke/Sakura, while Inuyasha/Kagome reminds me more of, idk, Hidan/Sakura or maybe Kiba/Sakura. Plus, if you've read the excellent fics that I have, you'd totally know why I like this pairing.

Runner-up: Miroku/Sango - Oh, love that perverted monk. I give him a 10/10 on the hotness scale just cuz he's a pervert. *is totally shameless* Reason I love them being together is that, well, they're just so fun! Sango gets jealous everytime he hits on a new girl (palm-reading anyone?) and it's nice to see her slap him silly (or bash him with Hiraikotsu) when he gropes her! And Miroku shows concern for Sango and clearly cares for her as shown in the manga several times!

Honorable mentions: Sesshomaru/Rin (when Rin's older), Sesshomaru/Kagura, Kouga/Ayame, Inuyasha/Kagome.

Crack pairings: Kikyou/Kagome (totally agree with what you said! XD And plus, I'm sure neither of them are narcissistic enough to want to make out with their look-alikes!), Kagome/Jaken

- Ship everyone seems to like but I don't: Naraku/Kikyou, Inuyasha/Kikyou (agreed), and Kouga/Kagome (he'd just treat her like a posession or something! That's so medieval!).

I've never really OTPed for Inuyasha, but one good Inu/Kag piece I loved was Phenonix Blade: Time Lapse. I don't know if you've ever read it, but it not, it is AU somewhat and takes a much closer (and better) look at the time-travelling bit. Kagome is a recent graduate of a military like school where some of the instructors might seem familar to the reader... and then she falls down a well and figures out who these instructors she's known really are.

Hm, I've read that fanfiction and really, I was astounded by the amazing vocabulary - that writer has a wider vocabulary thatn most others I know but... that's about it. While I was ok with everything else, Kagome was... severely out of character. Otherwise, that fic worked really well for me - it helped me widen my vocabulary as well!

Btw, I was wondering if you had read this Inu/Kag fic called Dead Famous by Torenza? That's the best Inu/Kag fic that I'll probably read in my entire life! The writer took a really cliche concept and turned into something so original! While the vocabulary isn't as impressive as that of Phoenix Blade, it certainly has a lot of character development! No wonder it got over 10,000 reviews! I was wondering if you'd check it out sometime? Here's the link:
