Based on this music meme snagged from everyone:
1. Pick a character, pairing, or fandom you like.
2. Turn on your music player and put it on random/shuffle.
3. Write a drabble related to each song that plays. You only have the time frame of the song to finish the drabble; you start when the song starts, and stop when it’s over. No lingering afterwards

Well, it's true that Shikamaru and Ino have known each other practically since the day they were born (seriously, their birthdays are just one day apart!) but what puzzles me is that if that is so, then why are there more ShikaTema moments than ShikaIno moments in the manga? In fact, now that I think about it, the ShikaIno moments are almost non-existent, because usually the panels feature Team 10 altogether... it's more like a team moment, even though some die-hard ShikaIno fans disagree adamantly. I can see ShikaTema going somewhwere in teh manga, although noe right now...
But I guess I like to write both pairings, despite shipping ShikaTema. You're RIGHT: ShikaTema does have 'a lots more wits, a lot more content and communication.' - that's one of the main reasons I like ShikaTema so much. For me, in a relationship, euality is very important - I'm not really into that submissive-dominant crap. In regards to skill level, I can ascertain that Temari and Shikmaru are pretty much equal: While Shika has the genius, Temari thrashes him in terms of sheer power. I don't think Ino can atch up to Shikamaru in that aspect... even though they definitely work well together.
While I like writing ShikaTema - for the more interesting Shika - I also like writing ShikaIno mainly because there's so much blank space in their childhood; Kishimoto really doesn't shed light all that much on the secondary characters, you know?
Also, in terms of humour, I think ShikaTema would be funnier!
And... oh dear, two hours' worth of sleep? Girl, you seriously need to sleep more... unlesss you're an insomniac? Anyway, *gives you a soldier pill* hope that replenishes your energy!

And nope I haven't posted the drabbles yet. I have three more themes to clear namely - Blah (which I already have an idea fore but has yet to pen it down), Lust and Horny. The other two have been giving me some problems (Despite the high amount of M rated fics I read..) But when I post it you would know! Maybe I will give you a teaser at the end of this comment :D
LJ is a freaking curse! I can't believe I sign up for this RP thing. My application has not gone through yet but then I am beginning to regret signing up.. It's like.. entrapping myself in the net of LJ..
There is practically Shikatema moments everytime they meet! It's like some form of chemistry between them. Everytime element Shika and element Tema meets there is some form reaction. Tee hee.
AND YES. Equality between sexes! Pride and Prejudice! Elizabeth! *waves banner wildly* The whole submission thing is so 19th century! And back to Shikatema, at least Temari has so,e brains too (reference to the Chunnin Exams where Temari fought against Shika. She was measuring Shika's range with her fan rmb? JUst that Shika was smartER than her). And I love brainy women :P
Kishimoto is obbessed with Naruto and Sasuke. Everyone else doesn't seem to get as much attention. Like TENTEN. My goodness. She is totally marginalised!
Oh and I promised a teaser right. Here we go, this is one of my personal faves:
Sasuke pinned Naruto on to the wall and press his face dangerously close to the blond’s.
“I want you,” he whispered, in tone that made sensuality an understatement.
Then he smirked.
Naruto glared, not liking how the other male was dictating the flow of the whole thing at all. Naruto hated losing, especially to this one Sasuke. He so desperately wanted to rub the smirk of his arrogant face.
“Teme, not everyone worships you,”
“But I know that you want me,” Sasuke said as he licked the Naruto’s earlobe, making the latter shudder.
That is the confidence of an Uchiha.

You signed up for the RP thing - as in the recent RP notifications I've been receiving lately. *shakes her head sloemnly* Well, good luck, girl! Hope you can juggle it with your schoolwork!
'My application has not gone through yet but then I am beginning to regret signing up.. It's like.. entrapping myself in the net of LJ..' - Mwahahaha! Ohhhh, do I ever know what that's like! (Un) fortunately, it seems that even without the temptation of RP, I'm already trapped in the world of lj... and I'm not sad about it! In fact, I'm happy! Or maybe it's all the sugar talking - I've been eating a lot of candy bars lately. Anyway, I really do hope you know what you're getting yourself into... But since there's nothign youcan do now that you've signed up, I'll say this much: good luck!
'It's like some form of chemistry between them. Everytime element Shika and element Tema meets there is some form reaction.' - Oh dear! You know what? I just came from doing my homework on organic chemistry (about alkanes) and it's just to weird to read that and think of Naruto characters in terms of chemistry. But you're so RIGHT! There's always, almost ALWAYS a moment between them!
And yeah, I know! Pride and Prejudice? You read that! *squeal* Oh man, it was so interesting! I really loved how Miss Austen described the social norms of Victorian England. I really disliked Mr. Darcy at first; he was so - what was the word again? - disagreeable. But as the story progressed, he sort of grew on me - and by th end, I was just short of falling in love with him!
Well, of course! That's what I like about Temari - she has beauty, brains AND brawn. She's one of the very few strong female characters in Naruto. The only remotely stromng female characters I can hink of are: Sakura, Tsuande, Anko and... well, I can't think of any. Kishimoto really shuns the female characters a lot, and sometimes it really pisses me off. All that potential wasted in favour of pointless speeches abput bonds and equally pointless fights.
'Kishimoto is obsessed with Naruto and Sasuke.' - True, but I think Kishimoto is more obsessed with Sasuke than Naruto. Seriously, the manga should be named 'Sasuke' - I mean, Naruto's determination sprouts form him, the plot revloves around him and all that handsome devil has to do is be cool and apathetic. After his revenge was accomplished, I was like, 'Okay, Sasuke, you got your revenge. Hurry home.' but nay, that was not to be. Kishimoto somehow found a way to tangle him even further with the plot.

'Like TENTEN. My goodness. She is totally marginalised!' - Oh god, there ARE people who notice that! I'm so glad! Just the otehr day, an online friend of mine and I wer discussing Tenten - how Kishimoto totally wasted her character. Did you notice that all the Rookie Nine except Tenten were introduced in special ways during the Chuunin Exam arc? I mean, Hinata's noticed because of her infatuation with Naruto, Kiba because of Akamaru, Shino because he's mysterious and remember, he steps in just as a bug was about to be un,indfully squished? Team 10 because of Ino's rivalry with Sakura, Neji because of his brief encounter with Sasuke in the hallway Lee because of his infatuation with Sakura and remember how he totally kicked Sasuke's ass suring their fight? And who does that leave us with? Tenten. We really don't know anything about her until the figh with Temari where her team tells us about her skills - and even that, barely - through flashbacks. Really, Tenten was the only one amons the Konoha 12 who was a serious kunoichi - I mean, surpassing Tsunade? Quite a dream! - from the start, and Kishimoto just wasted another chance to make something out of her character!
Ok, enough ranting! And my thoughts on your teaser:
I hate you. How dare you tease me with a scene like THAT and not give me the rest?!! It was *blushes* just so... hot. Sasuke just goes and outright say, "I want you." and... *dreamy sigh* Oh Sasuke, you goddamn sexy punk you... *melts* Great, now I'm all excited (read: hot and bothered) about your fic and YOU HAVEN'T POSTED IT YET! Go post now and end this torture! *waits impatiently for the post*
