Bonsoir, mon ami(e)! French class has been grueling and fun and all kinds of hilarious, and our teacher is very gay and very awesome. 8D I feel very accomplished now that my Friends page is a bit more manageable - and very, very ~free~ and ~un-awkward~ too.
Anyhow~! I was drowning myself in worry unhealthy amounts of coffee over June and July, and

I'm done with the entire anime now!~ It was adorable! I didn't sleep last night just watching it!~ To be honest, I'm not much of a Chiaki/Nodame fan. But I do like the way they interact. And Chiaki's just awesome in the way he shows affection, so natural and realistic, even if he is portrayed as somewhat bitchy and cold at first.
Ah, H&C XD I wish I had time to rewatch it. But in my own opinion, she 'did' choose morita. Or maybe that's just my inner fangirl speaking. I mean, she chose art, after all. And by choosing art, she chose him and the connection they shared. XD
Ah! Inception!~ *speaks quietly so as not to make Miko feel any worse. lol* Its ending was-- elrkjklljkgads. It made me curse the screen. seriously. lol. I was like 'AWW MAN F--- YOU!!' lol. XD But yes, the concept was awesome as hell, and really unique. I almost didn't watch it on the big screen, but my brother said it was the best movie he saw since the Gladiator.
/long rambling post. lol. XD

Um, not to be rude or anything, but your take on life is just... hilarious
Inside me, there's an evil dictator - that's the most honest thing I've heard in a while. :P I totally believe you; miko must be your right-hand man... er, woman XD
But hey, you know what they say, don't take life too seriously. After all, you'll never get out of it alive. lol. or something like that. - ...your black humour scares me. D:
I'm glad you're done with the anime (I've yet to finish the manga, sadly) - wasn't it just amazing? Seriously, romantic comedies are just so overblown that they go form funny to annoying - but there was just... something about Nodame that made me love it with all my heart :p - it's the characters, I think. They were all so human! Chiaki, especially. I love how isn't really a cold and bitchy as he was initially - he has a naturally affectionate side, but nobody's jsut ever gotten close enough - I guess he sort of intimidates everyone? But yes, his way of showing affection is natural - so genuine!
And hussshhh! Do NOT tell this to Miko. I ship Nodame/Chiaki in the they're people who care for each other without expecting anything in return way. It's so rare - so, I sort of hope it stays this way. They're just perfect as they are now. ♥
By choosing art, she chose Morita. Yes. Definitely. your inner fangirl is right XD Seriously speaking, I don't think there would be as many Morita/Hagu shippers as there are now is the anime hadn't turned out the way it did. It reels in all the what-could've-been shippers, and I'm glad for that!
GAWD, Inception. I had to re-watch a few scenes to actually even begin to comprehend how effing complex the entire process must be. A dream within a dream and yet everything feels so real. I love that brief all-or-nothing kiss between Joseph Gordon Levitt and Ellen Page - it was just <333. I loved it much more than some of the more passionate kisses on TV. Ellen Page just positively ++shone++ towards the end, and I think... Di caprio was totally upstaged my JGL. XD Seriously, who wouldn't admire a man kicking ass in a butler suit?
The Gladiator? Now that movie was something - it's been a long time since I've watched it though, but I clearly rememer the HBO ads. Theyw ere all so tempting and screamed "WATCH IT. WATCH IT NOW. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED." And truth be told, I wasn't. :D
/ramble away! I do too!

XD But black humor is the best there is!~ lol.
And yes, the anime was absolutely amazing!! My only complaint about it was that the parts where they performed were sometimes boring as hell because of the slide-showish non-animation. But Miko warned me about that and actually told me to watch the live action version instead. The only reason I continued to watch the anime was that I already finished downloading it and I was told that the plot was more complete. XD But their romance was awesome ♥ My favorite ChiaNoda part was when Chiaki went with Viera and missed Noda's recital- when he said sorry to her, it was just lksjflsk squee-worthy and so realistic and they were so much like a real couple~! ♥
Oddly enough though, I appreciated the Morita/Hagu ending more than I did the Chiaki/Nodame one!~ *gets shot* Perhaps it was because of the choices they made. XD lol.
KICKING ASS IN A BUTLER SUIT! <-- YES, YES, YES!! to be honest, though, I hardly paid attention to that guy when I watched. He shone in that fight scene and that cute kiss. But my whole attention was on Leo and his angsty story. XD
The Gladiator is what a movie should be! lol. It's basically the standard by which my family judges all movies. XD The people here can practically recite Russel Crowe's speech at the end. XD And that 'What we do in life, echoes in eternity' line is one of the most epictastic lines evar! XD

My only complaint about it was that the parts where they performed were sometimes boring as hell because of the slide-showish non-animation - God, you too?! It was definitely boring, but everyone i talked to about this were collective opinion that the performances were the best part. There were supposedly very ~soulful~ Give me a break! They were long and draggy and boring - because yes, flowery slideshows are... so backdated. XD Seriously speaking though, the animators really didn't need to drag on those parts as long as they did.
My favorite ChiaNoda part was when Chiaki went with Viera and missed Noda's recital- when he said sorry to her, it was just lksjflsk squee-worthy and so realistic and they were so much like a real couple~! - Damn, I know~ What I love about Chiaki is thart everything he does is so ~genuine~ There's no alternative motive involved - there's just him, the orchestra, his desire to be a world-class conductor and then there's Nodame. ♥♥♥♥
Perhaps it was because of the choices they made - This. I totally agree. The Morita/Hagu ending was a what-could-have-been ending, and that's what makes it so bittersweet. The Chiaki/Nodame ending was simple, sweet and hopeful - big on the tomorrow theme - but it really can' compete with what-could've-beens. ♥ (That, and you knew from the beginning it was impossible for Morita and Hagu to be together, but when that prediction came true, it really packed a punch - even though they couldn't be together in the physical sense of the word, they're connected through art/sigghhhhh)
Ahah~ Well, Cobb's story was very angsty - but um, lets just say I've seen... better acting from Di Caprio? Um, you probably don't know this, but um, I tend to notice the manner in which something was done - the technique - rather than the background/idea/premise when it comes to graphics/writing. /is shot (Although, I totally still love Leo's story - Mal was brilliant as well. Sort of romanticized, but that's only to be expected since she is a projection of her husband's subconscious)
'What we do in life, echoes in eternity - epictastic, poignant and everything along those lines. I mean, wow. There are few movies that can really hold my attention, and the Gladiator was definitely one of them - I mean, I've seen lots of other hero movies set in another era, but nothing compared to this. ♥

Pfft! Whut?! Soulful?! You've gotta be kidding me. :| People are so silly.
Nodame Cantabile has excellent characters. XD So realistic and normal despite their quirks.
I never expected them to like each other though. x.x I was like, "she'll choose takemoto for sure." But what was great about H&C was that even if it wasn't Takemoto who ended up with a girl, the author still managed to give him a story that did justice to his character. He wasn't pushed to the sidelines at all. And H&C is more about Takemoto's growth rather than romance, which made it so incredibly awesome. XD
XD I usually don't notice the acting. XD I'm more of a story-type-of-person. XD
Yesh! Gladiator: nothing compares. lol.

I... seriously agree with all your say about Takemoto. Throughout the series, he was a solid presence - what a main character should be - but it didn't feel like the other characters were pushed into the sidelines either. I love how all the characters are given equal importance.♥ But one undeniable truth is H&C would be H&C without Takemoto there. Ahh, just talking about H&C makes me happy~

It's true. Each character has a story that can stand on its own, and each of their stories has its own brand of poignancy. H&C is awesome ♥
