Sick (again) and scary!
I'm sorry i've been absent for SOOOO long. I STILL haven't put up a post really about the wedding... and that was AGES ago. Suffice to say, I'm married and happy!
...BUT still sick!! I've been rocking these stupid sino-bronchial infections for-frikkin-ever now. Every month or so, like clockwork.
So i'm sick again, and i go to the doctor.. .first she wants to set me up for some allergy tests, which are probably way overdue, but i don't cherish the idea of it. Having that many needles stuck into different little areas of me just doesn't sound like an amazingly good time. Still, it's definitely a valid suggestion.
But she does a chest xray and says i have a nodule in my lung... she thinks it's in my lung, she's not entirely sure... it was there in the previous xray too (from last time i was sick) but it's better defined now.. so she wants a CAT scan, just to be sure it's nothing sinister. She says she should be able to get me scheduled this week.
Does anyone have any advice? I've only had a CAT scan once, and it was when i was but a wee lass. Being told you have a nodule in you, even if the doctor seems pretty unworried outwardly, is still a scary thing.
