bad luck
it's a bad luck kind of day.
things could always get worse, don't get me wrong, but not only did i knock a full shampoo bottle on my little toe in the shower this morning, and realize half-way through my glass of water at lunch that it hadn't been sufficiently washed, but i just smashed my finger under a heavy stack of storytime books.
sigh. not that any of these things would get me down, they're just rare, and the fact that they all three happened on one calendar day seems a bit odd.

not getting nearly enough done. trying to plan and write up my first ever storytime, and i'm stuck choosing a welcome rhyme. on the edges of my mind is the draft of my toolkit due on monday. no clue when any of this will get done. forget about a craft.
