Not enough gin....
So it's early autumn now, time to make damson gin ready for this winter.
I found my damsons, pricked all 2.5kg of them, added the sugar and admired my work so far. Only then did I read my (very simple) recipe properly and realise I needed twice as much jar and four times as much gin. Gah!
I'll have to recommence tomorrow with more supplies. Remind me in 3 months time if you want to try some.
