Almost time for hols!

Mine will actually be pretty busy this year, which means less time in the middle of nowhere town that happens to be the place where I live (I'm sorry, but scenery can only get you so far). I mean sure, there will be revision at some point (it's NEWT year and I need good marks, I'm not stupid), and dinners with family Mum's, of course and oh yeah, a couple of those ball things to go to. I had an invite to one anyway, and was invited somehow to the other one.

This means I need to go robes shopping since most of my dress clothes are Muggle, and that won't exactly pass at the Malfoy's. I won't have much time once I get back from Hogwarts, but there has to se something (Bridget, if I may be so bold as to ask: can your sister keep an eye out for me, like she did for Grace last year?) I'd ask Mum to go look but oh wait, she's Muggle.

I'm excited that it's the weekend, because it means I can SLEEP IN tomorrow! I am very lucky to be in a dorm where such an action is celebrated.

I still cannot believe that Russell is going to be my date for BOTH of the balls this month oh my god.

I still cannot believe that Russell and myself snogged in the stacks on two separate occasions now.

I shouldn't have such a huge crush on him. He's a sixth-year and I remember (as late as fourth-year, if I recall correctly) the time when we called the blokes in the year under us "gross". But I can't help it. He got cute and he's smart (I can freely talk Arithmancy with him, it's brilliant) and sod it all. It's not like I have blokes lining up at my front door. If I can stop stammering every time I'm near him, I'm going to enjoy this.
