I suddenly notice my vision beginning to blur. Sleep deprivation scattering my words to linger upside-down. Fascinated with my disconnection. Slowly drifting in a dream. Faces appear blank, each carried a name. I hear their familiar voices whisper in my ear. My bodies numb to a pause in time. My mind is reacting, fearless at the scene. I choose a reading from the ethereal bookcase, and open the burning door. A man recites verses from my past, a time much before. I am staring to a mirror, It is me as a child. I reflect different features, though seem to remain myself. This man's voice sends chills down my spine. I feel this was my home, and his as well. I climbed into the mirror reflecting my soft innocence. Leaving him a glimpse of his daughter's tiny footprints, in a final memory, held strong to his heart.
