ok. so i was raised Catholic. i went to Mass pretty regularly throughout my childhood. I was having trouble remembering something from Mass, which a co-worked told me was the Apostles Creed. i looked it up to see if i could get the entire version, and all i could find differs pretty widely from what i remember.

this is what i found:

Modern English Version

I believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.

I believe in Jesus Christ, God's only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
he descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again;
he ascended into heaven,
he is seated at the right hand of the Father,
and he will come again to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. AMEN.

what i CAN remember was this:

...... He was crucified under Pontius Pilate
suffered, died and was buried.
On the third day he rose again,
in fufillment of the scriptures.
He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory, to judge the living and the dead,
and his kingdom shall have no end.

and then i think it segued into the Our Father.

does anyone else remember this????

i am SO confused.
