yay
it's been awhile since i've posted anything interesting.
i don't really ever have much to say.
so... here you go.
first: I GOT A KITTEN!
well, blixxie and i each got one really. mine is a black and white short hair. i think it's a boy, but i'm not so good at figuring that out. either way, i named it Bronte, figuring that was a good unisex name. it is *very* energetic. and two kittens together are SOO funny. i will post pictures when i get them developed and borrow somebody's scanner and know-how. but you people should come over and see them.
also, my mother finally got married to steve on monday. it was really quite cute, short, sweet and to the point. (they did it at the courthouse) we all went out to lunch after. (my mom and stepdad (yikes), aunt and her fiance, mom's cousin, myself and my brother.) my mother and my aunt got TRASHED. for all of you who know my mom, you probably know what she's like when she's been drinking. add to this the influence of my wonderfully bawdy Aunt Jane, and you have my mother shaking her cleavage and repeating dirty limericks. ("There once was a man from Nantucket....")
i haven't laughed that hard in a good while. my poor brother tho. i am not so terribly bothered by the idea that my mother has sex. it doesn't affect me much. Ryan however, moaned, groaned and actually BLUSHED when jokes to that effect were made. i don't think i've ever seen him blush before.
lastly, i'm feeling loads better. still a little sniffly, but functional.
happy that daylight savings has made it so much lighter later. plus it's been sunny. cold, but sunny.
ah. spring. kittens and new love.
Oh! i saw the advance screening of "The Alamo" last night.
SO good. i really liked it.
I recomend everyone go see it.
