Cat calls?
Apparently my typical version of 'girls night out' has been far from a real version of 'girls night out' up until tonight. My version has always been get together (dressed in probably sweatshirt and jeans) and go get coffee or a cookie. Or have some margaritas, make dip, and watch Iron Man. Totally fine for me. Tonight was...different. And awesome on a whole different level.
Meg found a $4 crazy dress and decided that she wanted to 'dress sexy' for girls night out. Now..again, my version of 'sexy' is probably far from normal people's version of sexy. Tank top and jeans. Or maybe badass sexy with like...army green shorts and a black tank. Other than that..I got pretty much nothing. So I dug something out of my closet and added heels to it (yes, I actually own heels) in an attempt to make it less cutsy and more sexy. Anyways, we show up and decide, holy crap, Megs dress is awesome for $4 and we wants one too! So..we go out and by crazy sexy $4 dresses and proceed to wear them for girls night out. And, seriously, I don't think I've ever encountered so much blatant staring. It was awkward and (in a weird way) a little exciting. Definite confidence booster. I think I only had the confidence to wear it knowing I wouldn't run into anyone I know, though. It was fun and different and probably not going to become any sort of routine, but I guess now I've officially had a real 'girls night out'!
