Trombonists can be rockstars, too.

Bones!

It is late at night, but I am compelled to report this to you. But I guess... too hesitant for Bone-L?

I invited Zach and Sarah out tonight to see a funk show in Rochester. It was headlined by the Po'Boys Brass Band. This is a band consisting of four trombone players, a sousaphone, a guitar and drums. They are mad cool. They play original compositions and covers. Included in the covers was Black Dog by Led Zeppelin (complete with trombone distortion pedal!) and Thriller. Thriller would make a great bone cheer if anyone could play it without busting their lips in half.

Anyway, they were super amazing. All their songs on their website just sound eh, but I found a youtube vid of them doing Edgar Winter:

Also, not entirely obvious from this video or the picture I sent Jared, but the 1st trombonist is seriously a double for Roger. Same height and build, same style of dress, same haircut, same gestures and mannerisms - and the trombone, of course. Also, the sousaphonist looks like Valthur. You know, that guy.

Aaah, must attempt to go to sleep.
