In limbo

I guess I haven't updated in a while.

Short story is, I've moved out of Ithaca. Not to return :( Or at least, until October.
My last couple days, I focused on not thinking about the gravity of the situation. About *actually leaving*. Didn't do anything extra-special, and even when I closed the door on my apartment for the last time I didn't even think 'well... this is goodbye!' Probably better that way. I didn't want to get all retrospective and misty-eyed in front of company.

We did go hiking at Robert Treman though. Took the trail all the way around the whole park. It was very tiring. Well, it would have been better had I had enough sense to bring water... but, oh well. The park was very pretty. I especially liked looking down Lucifer Falls. Also, I wish I had brought my bathing suit, because swimming there would have been pretty sweet.

If all goes according to plan (well... I actually have no idea if this is still going to work, as my uncle hasn't called back yet and said that we have a truck reserved), the moving truck comes tomorrow evening, and we pack everything in. Saturday morning, we are leaving to go to Pittsburgh and move everything in. Staying over and then leaving Sunday morning. At least after this point, the whole packing/moving/etc. circus will be (mostly) OVER. I'm so sick of it, I feel like I've been moving for a month. After this point, I'll just take the carload whenever I go back to Pitt. Which, FYI, will probably be the 22nd. I think.

So yeah! 20 days in Rochester! Well, not counting this weekend. A message to all Rochester people: If you are in town, even if we haven't spoken in a while, we should hang out. I have the time, and the desire. Tonight I'm going to the free North Mississippi Allstars concert, and I definitely want to go to the Little sometime next week. In addition to other summer fun. Call me!
