Florence + the Machine: Rabbit Heart

I have a hard time pinning down the influences of this music. Throw together Tori Amos and Moby; dash of feminine Goldfrapp. Soulful vocals mixed with music that seems exploratory and interesting. I was just blown away from first listen. It has a very catchy quality. I have downloaded the album "Lungs," and have been happy to discover that it was not just one song with this quality. They are all good. The lyrics clever, visceral and unique, and seem to bring a story to light without overexplaining.

Howl is probably my favorite off the album. But Rabbit Heart is good as well. I can't embed the video unfortunately, but it may be worth you clicking the link.

Howl LIVE

But mainly I wish I could sing like that. Damn.
