Imagination! Who can sing thy force?
Oh LJ where have I been? Running around in fields trying to catch sanity in a jar and bring it home with me. But alas.. my net is still empty.
I have been a busy girl but the work learning curve has finally smoothed out and my days are a little happier. I figured out that if I get of the Max at a certain point in my journey, I can just walk to work. That means I get to sleep an extra 20 minutes or so and get home earlier. Last week I FINALLY started exercising during my lunch breaks and it makes the day much nicer. That and being able to run along the river when it's nice and sunny is very inspiring. Working at an athletic club has its perks... like having showers and a locker room available.
Last week Mother Nature tried to drown us and threw rain, wind, thunder and hail at us. We had a few nice mornings and I took this picture on the way to work when a storm had just passed through.
The week before we were teased with nice weather. I sat outside during my lunch breaks and ate and soaked up the sun.
While walking to work on day, I saw the city had erected this giant Tootsie Pop. There was a plaque nearby explaining what it was, but I didn't read it. I like homages candy.
On Monday I'm jetting off at the butt-crack of dawn to spend a week in New York City. I'm going there for Book Expo and plan on working lots and playing lots. Book Expo is only three days so I'll be able to play and explore the city. Expect to see lots of pictures when I return.
