Some resting flower of yesterday's delight.

It's really too bad that Facebook has eaten so much of my blogging time. I need re-learn how to write more than two to three sentences at a time and get in touch with my inner paragraph. I know there are a few of you (at least two!) who come here to look at my pretty pictures and I apologize for slacking on the job.

Life has been hectic and work has been really strange. I am trying to find the time to slow down and just breathe and enjoy. I just knocked over my wine glass and Ian glared at me. I'm good! On my birthday, I took the day off and had the best lunch EVER at Pok Pok. It has spoiled me for Thai food and I can't eat gloppy peanut sauce ever again. After my lunch, I wandered around the 'hood and took a few pictures.

Flowers are easy because they don't move.

On Monday of this week, I went to Lacamas Trail and hiked for an hour to try and clear my head. I took a few pictures on the way.

So that, as they say, is that. My mom and grandma are coming to visit on two days and I'm excited. We'll pack a lot into a few days. I get to see so little of my family that's nice when we have visitors.
