I went abroad for the first time over easter. BEST. HOLIDAY. EVER.
So, the B.H.E. was to Italy, and it was part of a school trip. So I was abroad for the first time with all my friends, which was great. I got to fly in an airplane (although no one let me actually FLY the airplane. That would have been awesome, except for the part where I y'know, can't fly a plane).
Because it was a Classics trip we went to the Colosseum in Rome, and Ostia (also Rome) and some catacombs, and Pompeii, and Herculaneum. When we got back everyone had tons and tons of pictures of heaps of bricks. AWESOME.

Me: Pretty! I'll buy it!
Stall Owner: 7 euro!

(At which point I'd blissfully hand over the money and continue on my way.)
But yeah, awesome. Possibly more to follow as I avoid revising for internal and early gcse exams.
