It's hotter than an egg on a skillet

Apr 04, 2010 17:36

April 4th. Easter. Usually around 60 degrees Fahrenheit out, sometimes 70.

Not today. Today's high was 95 degrees, according to the thermostat, and we have no working air-conditioning at the moment. If it weren't for creamsicles and iced tea, I would be a puddle by now. >__<

But anyways, I had a nice Easter I supposed. Got roped into cleaning the porch and stuff. Outside. In the heat. I managed to get scraped up a bit on my arm, thanks to some chicken wire, and I have dirt on my shins somehow, which is very odd, because I was mostly cleaning the giant pile of ages old leaves off of the porch with a deckbrush. I did manage to get in some chocolate bunny and jelly bean eating, but that's about it.

Moving right along, I got this cool meme from grosse_averse , who got it from candesceres : Go to Wikipedia and type in your birthday (month and day). Then write down 3 events, 3 births, 3 deaths, 3 holidays, and tag 3 friends.
