Ouch.
So, um, yeah. I went to the hospital last night.
I had severe abdominal pain, and I didn't know what it was. I still don't, as the doctors gave me an CT scan and an ultrasound (along with a catheter and an IV, ick) and they STILL couldn't find out what was wrong with me. I was sent home with pain meds.
I, um, had a problem like this about five years ago, when I was 12. I had abdominal pain, I went to the hospital, and they found a cyst on my ovary. They sent me home to let the thing rupture, but when it did the ovary turned itself around, cutting off blood flow and causing ovarian torsion. They removed my right ovary in surgery, so now I'm stuck with only one.
But nothing like that seems to have happened. They found no cyst, no torsion. They even checked for appendicitis, and got nothing. There's nothing they can find wrong with me, even though as I'm typing this I'm experiencing little twinges of pain.
I'm pretty frikken scared about all of this. I don't really care to be a medical mystery. I just want to know what's wrong.
