I am sick and any attempt to talk results in prolonged coughing fits, so clearly the Internet is the place for me to be!! In an attempt to entertain myself, I have decided to map out Jamie Bamber's future career. OMG. You should *totally* present him with the list! With detailed casting notes! (kidding, kidding!)

I think he should totally do a cameo on Ugly Betty, purely because he looks so much like the guy, Daniel, Betty's boss. The other guy is like a slightly taller, slightly uglier version of Jamie. It was weirding me out.

I know!! I told Alanna that Daniel/Eric Mabius is the third Adama brother. Hee!

And yeah, that would be a funny thing to give Jamie at the con! I'm still giving serious thought to going (nudge, nudge)...

Oh, yeah. Indi told me about Daniel as the Third Adama Brother right when Ugly Betty began, though I wasn't as keen on the resemblance. But I was watching a rerun the other night, and I noticed that he looks more like Trucco -- it's the hair and the cupid-bow mouth. Go figure. ;)

Yanno, I almost chose Bowflex commercial just because it would mean at least a whole minutes of him shirtless and shiny. That is my idea of good tv.

Mmmmm. We could combine it with Alanna's other suggestion: "A role in which he uses the English accent all the time, except for brief breaks to speak French or Italian. And he gets to sound all smrt 'n stuff." French Bowflex commercials! :0)

My vote is for a starring role in a male version of Baywatch, in which he is half-dressed and wet for most of every episode.

Excellent! Or a reprise of "Man from Atlantis", so we can keep with the remake-of-a-cheesy-show theme, along with the half-dressed and wet. :0) No! Wait! "Sex and the City", with Jamie in the Samantha role! Snark and sex! With a British accent, no less!

Since there was no NC-17/arthouse available *cough*, I went for the indie, especially if he's playing someone very evil. With eyeliner. With bloody hands.
Then I ticked George Clooney, just because he's famous and people will go see his films and will therefore see Jamie and fall in love with him. Damn, now I think I should've chosen Scarlett Johansson instead, because I'd rather see her than George Clooney.

Excellent!! Maybe a combination of both. Perhaps an Almodovar-ish film, heavy on the noir and boudoir. :0)

And yeah, I threw in George because he's a marquee name, but also because he does interesting things like Good Night, and Good Luck, or Three Kings. There's room for three on that marquee - step on up, Scarlett!
