So Tuesday I am headed off to Killington, Vt for my Level III exam. For those of whom are unfarmiliar...
Iv've been a snowboard instructor for the past few years now and because of it have seen my riding progress tenfold. So I've been attaining these ranks of certifaction and III is th highest. Basically is really really fucking hard to get.
I went to it last year and failed, this year I feel alot better.
Throwing switch 3's off tabletops for the first time ever didn't hurt my confidence either.
So hopefully I pass, then next year I can get to work on my coaching certifaction, since I would much rather coach kids and go to comps anyways.
It should be cool. I will be teaching at Killington for the week, then taking the exam Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday so we'll see what happens.
I've been watchig the stuff on the Pope. Now regardless on how you feel on relgion, or organized relgion, the Pope is a fairly important figure in world history and politics, especially this one. He helped bring down Communisim in Europe and has kept the Church on the world stage (for good or bad, depending on your opinion) and his declining health will continue to be huge international news. It's just weird that he's being treated as already dead. Give the guy a break, and give him some peace.
