Wrong Number
A (585) number rings me on my cell earlier this morning. Why is Rochester calling me? Could it be Greg?
"Good morning, this is David." (I dunno, maybe it was work-related somehow)
"Hey, can I talk to Dominic?"
"Excuse me?"
"Dominic. Is Dominic there?"
"No, this is David. I think you have the wrong number." (I always say "I think" even though no one has ever called for Dominic or Lateesha and then said, "oh, no, I meant David.")
"Oh, this isn't xxx-xxxx?"
"No, this is yxx-xxxx."
"Oh, don't mind me; it's Friday and I'm having one of those days..."
"Uh, but it's Tuesday."
"Don't tell anyone... good-bye."
