Gyms and Things

I somehow managed to get to the gym five days this week. On my way home from work early on Friday to go the fifth time before the the beginning of Rosh HaShana, I called my old boss to see about my owed pay. Last year at this time, he pulled me aside and secretly gave me all my past-due pay (the others weren't so lucky.) "Going into the New Year, I don't want to be indebted to another Jew." Suffice it to say, I wasn't extended the same courtesy this year. Guess I'll be signing that retainer next week.

I just wanted to wish everyone a happy and prosperous New Year! Let me also thank whoever wished me a good year last year. It turned out quite nicely, after all.
