More Thrilling Top500 Results
Firstly: Yes, I know I never actually update Livejournal with personal content anymore. I've been busy and Facebook is so delightfully low-maintenance. I'm planning to write something soon about what I've been up to. Actually this post tells something about one facet of what I've been doing.
Specifically working hard on Windows HPC Server 2008. One of our beta partners (NCSA) landed a system in the Top 25 of the latest Top 500 list. The system came in at #23, with 1184 machines (8 cores per node) running at 68.5 TeraFlops and 77.7% efficiency.
