[It's not like i think about this constantly...well, maybe i do...]
Time to update what i did this past weekend.
Friday night:
Audrie came over at around 6 and we hung out, packed all the last minute stuff into the car, and we set out on the road at about 7:30. We stopped for Ice Cream at Friendly's in New Hampshire, there were these kids out in the front playing hackysack at like 12 at night, it made me laugh and think of our other friends. So Daddy decided that he wanted a Whopper from BK. So, this is the only time in my life that i've seen my father jog, he jogs over about a block and a half to BK. Tries the door, door's locked. He had to come all the way back, and by that time we had already gotten our ice cream and french fries, so we all got back in the car and went through the BK drivethrough. Dad got his food and everyone was happy. We got to the house at around 12:30, everyone helped to unpack the car and we blew up the airmatress for me and Audrie to sleep on. The Martin kids were there, they're pretty cool. We went down by the fire and sat with my brother Ryan, mom, dad, auntie karen, uncle glen, buddy, jackie, eric, jon, his gf cathy, uncle mark and auntie sue, and whoever else i'm forgetting. Then around 2 we went back up to the house and fell asleep.
Saturday:
Woke up to the smell of pancakes, sausage, and hash and went down by the lake to watch uncle mark try and find the anchor so that he could tie down the new water trampoline we got earlier this year. After that, we set up the tent out on the beach so that not all the kids would have to sleep on the floor in the house. That was fun with me, audrie, ryan, mom, and dad all trying to figure out which pole goes where and all the stakes in the ground and crap. Then we heard that there was to be a boatride in the speedboat to go on. The only part that sucks about having a lot of people come up all at once is because you can only have 7 people total in the speedboat. There were like, nine kids. SO me and Audrie volunteered to get out. Whatever. We went tubing later that day!!!! AMAZING. Jamie fell off twice, and Audrie fell off twice. Tay wiped out and Georgie fell too. Jake did at some point and Mike tried to do a barrelroll and it didn't work out. And at once point Uncle flipped an entire tube and Sam went flying. BUT UNCLE COULDN'T GET ME OFF. I was so proud of myself hahaha. I paid for it the next morning tho...But we did a lot of tubing, and Joey taped a lot of it on his videocamera. We watched it later on before dinner. After dinner we went for another short boatride. Then we hung out by the fire and eventually crashed into the tent for the night.
Sunday:
I woke up in such pain that it's amazing i didn't wake Audrie with all the noise and groaning i was doing due to muscle pain. Somehow i got out of the tent and managed to walk into one of the chairs by the firepit. My mother drugged me up on painkillers and LIFE WAS GOOD. Hehe. When Audrie woke up about 2 hours later, we attacked the Mexican Dip and that was our breakfast. We went for another boatride, the partybarge came with us this time. Sam's a bad driver. Period. Ryan was with us, and i'm glad because i know that Audrie would probably be the only one that would jump over the side if i was rocked out of the boat. Her and Ry know how freaked i get about the prop. But then we went to the rope and it SUCKED. People need to learn how to build platforms and how to get a THICK rope so that we can hang onto it. The whole world should learn to build them. It pissed me off a lot. But i helped all the little kids, and i caught the rope for the next one that went up. Stopped for lunch, then we went out on Taylor's boat. We took Audrie to go see the Eagles, on Horse Island, and it looked like nobody was home :(. We hung around there for a while, then went back to the house to ask if we could go to Spider Island. They said yes, and out we went. We hung around on the sandbar for a long time, then we saw the partybarge go by! So while we were riding beside them, Bobby was throwing me the ball and i caught it and vice versa. A couple times Bobby didn't catch it, so we had to turn the boat around and go get it. Finally we got to Rock Island!!! I'm so proud of Audrie, she jumped off the giant rock. It gets harder to get up the staircase every year. I give her a lot of credit getting up it. And Tay jumped off the high side!!!! I'm so proud of her, that was her first time. But then of course Mom and Dad came on Uncle Glen's boat to come find us, becuase it was getting late. We didn't know what time it was. Oh well, we got back to the house and ate dinner. And me and Audrie ate two sleeves of Oreos. Then everyone came home and we said goodbye. Ryan followed us out to the highway, and we stopped for gas. Then we came home at around 1 in the morning...Audrie slept over becuase it was just easier that way.
I had an amazing time. As if you couldn't tell. I'll take some of you sometime, promise.
