I haven't written anything here since July. JULY! That's just crazy. Because I have the sneaking suspicion that there is NO HEAT on in my office right now and therefore it's clearly too cold for me to get my actual work done I will take this time to recount my favorite music of 2007.

Though I still love vinyl and having an actual CD to hold in my happy little hands, this year signals a shift in my music listening habits. I now own an evil I-Pod which means listening to a whole album all the way through rarely happens and I quickly spend $10 on a bunch of random songs on Itunes without knowing what happened (and yes, I know I can probably find stuff for free elsewhere I'm just too lazy and/or busy). As I get older, I also find myself listening to music whilst doing other things instead of just sitting quietly and soaking it in like I used to.

All that said, here are some of my favorite tunes of the year (I'm not sure all of these came out in 2007 but I listened to them a lot in 2007):

Particularly Late at Night by Buffalo Tom which I listened to on repeat after watching the My So-Called Life episode it's in 2x in a row. It feels good to admit it.
