because i don't need 2 hours now. ;x

it's just the principal. if i had gone this morning, like i had wanted to, i would've needed the 2 hours, but with leaving 45 minutes early, I'll have almost 3 hours to vote.

my sister just called and said she and ben had to wait in line for 2 hours to vote at the supposedly slowest time of the day at the same polling place i go to. :O

hopefully i'll have plenty of time, but also, if you're in line to vote by 7 p.m., they have to let you cast your ballot, which is why it sometimes takes a while to get the results in.

i'm definitely committed to making sure my rights don't get violated. ;x it's not fair to anyone when the company is making only part of their employees use vacation or go without pay and not the other people in the company.

but, i also think i may have gotten my boss in trouble when i emailed the HR department because instead of emailing me back, they emailed the head HR lady who has summoned my supervisor to her office later this afternoon for some discussion.

i wonder if i'll get called in...
