thought I fubar'd this computer over the weekend. I tried to remove the log in screen, but only deleted the password. so I thought I had essentially thrown out the key to an auto-lock. nope, I just hit enter and continue.
tried painting last night, but got no inspiration. total mental constipation. all I did of any quality was reassemble some collage/breyer paintings onto panel. those are fine, but I'm doing them more out of compulsion and am trying to move away from it. abstract is fun an all, but I want to do more figurative/narrative painting. stuck a picture of Greg Kineer onto one of 'em.
had some good characters come up in my sketch book this past week. looking forward to paining them. didn't think of it last night.
Gary Panter book is amazing, its given me a wealth of inspiration... that alas fizzled when I put brush to panel.
well, its almost 2pm, I have a dentist appointment at 3:45 and I'm not yet dressed. stayed in bed reading Lemmy's autobiography for a couple hours. no rush on anything today. ;)
